well i got vmware 4 and its works perfect with winxp...
also got Slackware linux 9! and installed it on vmware..
everything works.. well kinda...
i need to install the vmware tools and so far no luck at all!

i followed directions from vmware and still nothing...
i mount the proper shit and tar what i need to and when i get to where it says "./vmware-install.pl"

Make sure you're in the proper directory, and try passing the "other" option to the command. "./vmware-install.pl other" as there is no built in support for slackware.
