Slackware startup scripts
OK,
I dumped RH off this box and installed Slack 9.0. I am quite impressed with the results so far. I had a script that would run at start up to mount some NT shares. This was located in the rc5.d folder and would run at boot up automaticaly. Slackware is a little different it appears. Would anybody like to give me a hint as to how to go about this? Thanks, Cooner |
Seeing as no more replies I can only assume put it in
/et/rd.cd/rc.local Apart from that slack run's like a sprinter don't it, compared to the Hat |
Now it make sense!
Thanks.. and yeah it runs alot faster now :) |
You can try to insert your partititon in /etc/fstab.
