Slackware Partitioning.

When you create new partitions on Slackware using fdisk, do the blocks need to be divisible by a certain number, or can I just let the numbers go from the current cylinder to the end. Also, when you enter +64M, the number only goes up by nine, is this an error?

Thanks

I've never worried about blocks being divisable by a specific number, I've just left fdisk to adjust it accordingly. I'm not sure what you mean when you say "the number only goes up by nine".

cheers
