SlackWare :Method Not Allowed The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL

I have apache 1.3.33 and php-4.4.0-i486-4 installed and I am getting the error

Method Not Allowed
The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL

Now I know the code is good I have tested it on 2 other boxes (slack and windows) It seems that there is an issue w/ the way apache is configured. let me know if you need the httpd.conf it is too large to put in the message ... thanks
