Slackware 9.1 realplayer binary install

hey guys,
I have been trying to install the realplayer binary i downloaded from everytime i try to execute it it says:
-bash: ./rp8_linux_alpha_rh62_cs1.bin: cannot execute binary file
I have made this file executable...the permissions are so:
-rwx--x--x 1 rmanocha users 8899116 Nov 30 06:02 rp8_linux_alpha_rh62_cs1.bin*

I have tried both the red hat version as well as the debian version and both wont execute...i get the exact same error message with the debian version too.
could someone please tell me what is the problem here or at-least point me in the right direction.

You probably didn't want the alpha architecture version. You probably want the i386, i486, or i586 (Intel architecture) version.
