Slackware 9.0 KDM - dead keyboard

Hello everybody!

I have recently installed a Slackware 9.0. I'm not a GUI addicted, but I tried to start kdm. The problem is that my keyboard is dead (the mouse works fine, though). If I start any X session by hand (startx), it works just fine. The other dm's (gdm, xdm) work fine. Does anyone have any clue?

Thx,
