slackware


i just downloaded slackware from linuxiso.org and it was only one download file.is it normal or i need more file it was the onlt file for it so i just downloaded it i hope it is

that's it, all on one cd.

Please use a suitable forum for each question. this should naturally be in the "slackware" forum, or at least the "distributions" forum. have a skim through the first link in my signature, cheers.

ok i burn it as a .iso with nero burning room and now i have to know how to install it i also downloaded gentoo linux which was on one cd and when i put it in the cd-rom drive and then i restart my computer and the set up goes well i get passed the part where it ask about the keyboard and then it ask about a network or something i am using 56k and i have to type something on and when i type in ipconfig i have to type in another code what should i type ?

When it asks to setup your network, say no. It will ask you later during the install if you have a modem installed.
