SKYPE on Mandriva 2008.0

i have just try to use skype on my pc with mandriva 2008.0
Somehow skype doesn't detect any sound devices on my pc, whereas i usually listen my mp3 with amarok were always running well....
since i had i skype installed in my personal computer, it doesn't work Crying or Very sad
skype could get online, but i colud not use itu to make a call or receiving any call because it said that i don't have any sound card & microphone attached.

I need help on this... how to slove this problem.?

Maybe its because skype supports alsa and not pulseaudio, try starting skype like this: "pasuspender skype".
