Skype 4.3 window appearing upon login

Hello. I am wondering if there is any way to prevent the Skype window from appearing in the middle of my screen immediately when I log in (using Debian 7.1.0 XFCE). I installed Skype manually by doing this:

wget -O skype-install.deb http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-linux-deb
sudo dpkg -i skype-install.deb

There is no option in Skype settings that helps me. Wine also does not run the Win Skype.

Check the system start up files in /etc also the ones in /etc/xdg/autostart it's annoying and borders on malware when software starts by itself without having told it to and without an easy way to stop it from starting.

...xfce also has a gui for en/disabling startup applications.
it's in the settings manager and probably not easy to find.

Terminal >
Code:
xfce4-session-settings
gets you to the widget.
