Skins for Gaim?

I really love Gaim, its a wonderful program, but as much as I hate to say it, its kinda ugly. Ive been scouring the internet for skins or themes (not smiley themes i know about those already) and all I've been able to find are people saying things like "Gaim and Trillian both use skins, but skins are teh sux0rz" and there aren't any links or anything to skins. I know its not a big problem, but I've just gotten in the mood to make both WinXP and Linux look slick, and Gaim is totally clashing with my desktop thank you very much </gay interior decorator>. Any ideas?

gaim uses GTK2.0+ themes. afaik i have never heard about any skins for gaim, neither have gaim ever said that it is skinnable.
if you are using gnome then gaim will take up the look that gnome is using while in KDE it will just take window borders of effective KDE theme. if anyone knows about any gaim skins it will be really nice thing for me too.
sorry can't be of any more help :(

Here is my ~/.gtkrc-2.0 to make gtk themes work at the start-up of an gtk application. This gave me some problems with other desktop environments (like xfce) .. .so if there is any other solution to tell gtk what theme to use, I'd be thankful

Code:

#gtk-font-name = "Bitstream Vera Sans 12"
gtk-font-name = "Luxi Sans 12"

# choose a theme:
include "/usr/share/themes/Grand-Canyon/gtk-2.0/gtkrc"
# include "/usr/share/themes/Metal/gtk-2.0/gtkrc"
# include "/usr/share/themes/Mist/gtk-2.0/gtkrc"
# include "/usr/share/themes/Smokey-Blue/gtk-2.0/gtkrc"
# include "/usr/share/themes/ThinIce/gtk-2.0/gtkrc"
