Unhappy Site error: the file /var/www/hotel/index.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube


I'm using ubuntu 9.04 for my web development in php. still today i goit some error in my web page that was shown below like this.,

Site error: the file /var/www/hotel/index.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader to be installed by the site administrator.

Thats why i installed ioncube in my project folder. but there is no effect taken in my system. i have this error upto now. and ioncube forums that they were reply with some steps like below.,


1) Find out what processor your webhost is using Architecture x86_64 was mine.

2) Download the correct Linux (x86-64) version and upload those to the ioncube directory (or whatever version your webhost requires)

3) Set the permissions on the to 777

4) Edit the php.ini file so it uses the

Restart the LAMP server to make the changes to take effect. I believe, this will fix your issue.

Also, please make sure that PHP is showing ionCube Loader. You can check this using the command "php -v".

Please let me know if you encounter any issues.
