simple question...where is php.ini

I need to modify my php.ini. I know in the windows world, php.ini can be found in the windows directory...

But w/ Red Hat 9, I cannot seem to find it.

I ran "find / php.ini"
but that turned up nothing. I KNOW i have php installed. My website displays php files perfectly...i just need to tweak some settings.

Try locate php.ini, min is in /etc but I have RH v8.0

aaah..there it is. I wonder why 'find' wouldn't find it.

To use the find command you need something like:

find / -name "php.ini" -print

I belive that without the print it won't show you the result of the search. Locate is also much quicker!
