Simple Question... but n00bs need help


I have bittornado and it works fine... until i shut down my computer... when i go to open bittornado back up, it asks me what torrent file i want to open... here's the problem, i used the "open with" command and since i'm new to linux, i have no idea where the temporary files are... so i can't find the torrent files i was downloading... will you help my by explaining where they went... oh yeah, i have Ubuntu 7.04

Your temp folder is usually located in your home folder. Failing that the temp files may be in the .bittornado folder which is a hidden folder. Use the menu option show hidden files to reveal it.

Have you tried using the search function to look for the requested file? Can you post the exact message here in this thread?

It seems the .torrent file has not been saved. I suggest downloading another torrent just to see where that .torrent file is (or wants to be) saved. Also check the settings in Bittornado to see if you can set a default directory for saving.
