simple install script
dear all,

i am developing an open source project that need the kylix libraries to run.

the structure of my install would be to input files into the /usr/lib (the kylix libraries) and /usr/bin (the binary of my executable).

i would like this to be installable on many linux distro, so i don't want to use rpm (red hat), tgz (slack, as far as i know), etc but instead i'd love to have a simple bash script to do so.

can anyone point me in a right direction, also to avoid installation mistakes? i am new to releasing projects.

thank you,

look for GNU coreutils

i know coreutils,

what you are suggesting is build a script with functions such as

cp myfile /sur/bin/myfile
...and so?

isn't there a more 'professional' way to setup a release?
