Simple, customisable battery monitor?

Hi,

I'm looking for a battery monitor for my panel. I've tried cbatticon and batti which seem very similar. One (I think cbatticon) shows notifications (which I want) but I also want to customise when it shows the notification (specific percentage). I'm looking for something lightweight and that will work with any panel with a notification area (I change from time to time). I've also tried vattery but that looks ugly and doesn't have notifications.

Ideally I would like the option to show the percentage and/or icon (without hovering).

Suggestions?

Thanks

Not just battery, but... GKrellM might be worth a look-see? It displays your CPU(s), processes, disk, eth0, ppp0, memory, swap, mail and, ooh-boy, battery status (and you can add fans and the like if you want). With an "invisible" theme, it'll sit there on your desktop off in a corner someplace and keep you apprised of what's going on.

It may already be on your system (open a terminal and enter gkrellm and hit the return key) or it ought to be available from your distribution or, what the heck, at http://members.dslextreme.com/users/...m/gkrellm.html.

Maybe that's too much, but what the heck.

Hope this helps some.

Thanks for the suggestion but looks a bit complex; just after an icon for a notification area.
