Question signal 11 in quake3 ?


I just did a fresh install of Red Hat 8.0 & everything is updated. I just installed Q3A & it doesnt even start for the very first time. Heres the error from the console

As you can see it doesnt mention any errors. Any idea whats wrong ? I have had a RH8 install before & quake3 has ran flawlessly on it . I have no clue whats happening, pls help me

something pretty bad about your graphic card, but I can't say what. Is this a "true" Quake 3 cd or a copy? I have nothing against copy, however, you have maybe got a copy of a free version of Q3 gived with certain graphic card. These version are optimized to work with these graphic card, you'll have serious problem using it under linux.

nope my copy is perfectly legal & as I mentioned I this same copy has run properly in my earlier install of Red Hat 8.0. Only after reinstallig has it become like this. Other games like RTCW works flawless.

sorry i can*t get quake3 working either. I just play americas army, wolfenstein et and ut2003... they rock
