Shutting Down Computer, from Fluxbox.. ?

is this possible. I mean completely turn "OFF" the machine. I'm running Mandrake 10 and when I'm using Fluxbox WM and I want to shutdown the system I have to switch back to KDE so I can use the "logout" command or go to the login screen and press "halt". But I will like to know if you can create a script or do something withing Fluxbox that it will call the Mandrake shutting down (logout) sequence or something in that line to shut the whole computer off. Any ideas are welcome, I'm so hungry to learn my way's around linux,

Javi

Mandrake by default allows a normal user to
shut-down the box? Disgusting.

Cheers,

Tink is a MOD??? Wow, i haven't been around too long.

add this line to your /etc/profile (somewhere in the beginning)

alias turn-off='sudo shutdown -h now'

now you'll be able to just type 'turn-off' at the command line, it will ask you for your password to confirm and shutdown.
