hi guys i have a nice question i wanted to ask, so let's begin

:confused:should i use fedora 26 for the pourposes of ethical hacking ?

i mean i have been using it for now 3 months .I have configured it and installed things like metasploit,WebGoat,ettercap,bettercap,aircrack-ng,burp suite pro,hydra-gtk,nmap,wireshark , multible vms in kvm enviroment .

...and by the way i am using Panda PAU06 as an wireless hacking adapter with aircrack-ng.


even after doing so much practice my hacking skills on fedora i still feel it is not the appropriate distribution to run these things on .

It might be useful if you really need the newest tools for something.

When I do a security scan (I don't really like the term "ethical hacking"), I mostly use an older Debian/Kali system with many customized scripts (being lazy) that don't always run with the latest of the latest (even had issues with Kali when it started using testng adding some updates and changes).
