[SOLVED] shotwell facebook plugin doesn't stay logged in, fails to publish

I use Shotwell, version 0.26.4-1, in Arch linux, running KDE, to manage my photo collection and I want to use it to publish to Facebook, but when I go through the plugin's entire Facebook login process, then click the publish button I get the message:

"You have already logged in and out of Facebook during this shotwell session.
To continue publishing to Facebook, quit and restart Shotwell, the try publishing again."

Has anyone else ever gotten this error? And is there any way to fix this?

i suggest you find out the plugin's github (or similar) page and see if an issue has been raised about that.
or see if the plugin isn't hopelessly outdated.

Thanks for your reply.

On a hunch, I went on Facebook and removed the Shotwell app from my account. Then when I re-ran Shotwell on my computer and tried to publish again to Facebook, and it logged in and stayed connected just fine.
