shn - wav converter ?

I have some shn files and would like to convert them. But most of the programs are for windows. So what is the easy way to do the converting? I could use wine (hard?) but would prefer a linux program.

There is a program called shntool that should do it for you, as long as the .shn files are not encrypted. You can get it at http://www.etree.org/shnutils/shntool/ You may also want to check out http://www.etree.org/linux.html for more info on the program shorten and other required software to burn the files to a CD.
