shazam alternative for linux ubuntu.
it would be a great help if someone knew a linux(ubuntu)application similar to shazam or tunatic or any other,for song identification,from the desctop not mobile phone.thanks in advance.!

shazam is a tool for identifying songs for windows ahd android phones..ipod has it too..tunatic is a version of it for pc..and i was wondering if there was anything out there for ubuntu 11.04..

Did you try running them with Wine? If you don't have wine open terminal and type this

and finally ... Shazam on Linux
You can use Shazam on Linux with a virtual machine with Android x86 in it and the Shazam App. I created a little video that shows the installation process and the usage:
