sharing installed application


Is there any one know how to share application, so i just need to install the application once and all the other user can use the application with out installing again in their account ????

I allready try chmod command but iam confused which file should i change so the application can be by another user

I will appreciate any kind of help.

If you mean on the same computer,All the other users can execute the program fine (unless you specify otherwise)

Some system commands can only be executed by root though, and this is for a reason.
