sharing files over the network

hi!!! all,
I have recently got Federo on my pc..
my pc is in a network ..shall any body explain me how to share
files over the network and how to give permissions to it.
can i make the shared files accesible to only certain users
in the network ..

You need to get a program called Samba. you can get is at The readme is very understanding. That is the only way I know of.
