Question shared library error while running gdbserver on target with arm-926ejs processor

Hello all,
I have build cross compiled gcc (arm-926ejs-linux-gnueabi-gcc) which compiles test program which runs successfully on the target board with arm-926ejs processor.

Then I have build gdbserver for target board with the following commands:

#export CC=arm-926ejs-linux-gnueabi-gcc
#configure --host=arm-926ejs-linux-gnueabi
#make

when I run the resulted gdbserver on the target board it gives me following error:
./gdbserver: /lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by ./gdbserver)

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks
