shared librariy error


Hi all


when i am cross compiling postfix-2.3.0 for arm-linux-gcc,i got error

/usr/local/arm/2.95.3/arm-linux/lib/libdb.so: undefined reference to `pthread_condattr_setpshared'
/usr/local/arm/2.95.3/arm-linux/lib/libdb.so: undefined reference to `pthread_mutexattr_destroy'
/usr/local/arm/2.95.3/arm-linux/lib/libdb.so: undefined reference to `pthread_mutexattr_setpshared'
/usr/local/arm/2.95.3/arm-linux/lib/libdb.so: undefined reference to `pthread_mutexattr_init'
/usr/local/arm/2.95.3/arm-linux/lib/libdb.so: undefined reference to `pthread_mutex_trylock'

in commandline i add the command

make makefiles AUXLIBS="-L/usr/local/arm/2.95.3/arm-linux/lib -ldb -lnsl -lresolv -lpthread"

then make

cross compilation is completed without any error.but i run postfix on the target

./postfix

i got error

./postfix: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared
object file: cannot load shared object file: No such file or directory


can anyone help me?

Usually it will give you an error, indicating what shared library it can't find. Since you manually modified the path to get it to compile, that may have changed things. Have you tried linking the libraries to the 'normal' locations??

Also, please check the numerous other threads you've opened (and received responses to), on issues very similar to this, regarding sendmail, smtpd, postfix, both for compiling and running them.
