Question share email contacts

Hi all!

I just got myself a second computer at home. Now I want to share my emails and contacts on both machines.

I already set up an imap-server for sharing emails... now I am looking for a straightforward solution for sharing email contacts. I had a look at openldap, but It seems way oversized for my problem Does any of you know another tool that would let me store my email contacts on the server? Or point me to some "easy" description on how to set up an ldap server without spending weeks on reading up on that topic?

for anyone who as not yet understood the topology of my network:

btw. my workstation is running Linux with Ximian as email client. the notebook runs XP with outlook, the server is Linux.

Thanx, Steave.
