Samba to share files and such.

How are you connecting to the Linux server.. is it like a direct connection, serial, thru a hub.. etc ?? Are you wanting to connect with using something like ICS or something ??

I have already used samba and it works properly. But it connot share my internet connection. My connection is an ethernet 10-baseT, RJ-45, through a 10Mbps Hub, IEEE 802.3, choose which you prefer. I want to connect with anything that allow me to go on the internet on my Win95 PC when my linux machine is connected.

Hi!

You could/should use IPtables.

Iptables is a complete subject on its own, so I can't explain it here, but there are plenty of good resources on the internet. You can also find lots of premade IPtables scripts.

Pesonally I prefer shorewall; its secure, mature and easy to use. :)

Have fun!
