Setup IRC Server with downloadable client?
 

Okay, I've found things online that describe how to set up and IRC server. That's great.

I've also found how to connect to an IRC server using an IRC client. That's great too.

But I'm wanting to kinda combine the two. Whenever I've used an IRC channel, it's always automatically downloaded its own IRC client while connecting, and that's what I want. I don't want people to have to have their own client before connecting to my server. It should be a seamless process.

Any ideas?

their own client??? I guess you're simply thinking about those crappy java web based clients??

Yeah, pretty much! Just something that works and is cross platform.
