Setting up postgresql I don't have the postgres application
I've installed postgres with apt-get and I'm trying to follow tutorials online to set it up. Whenever I use psql it keeps asking me for a password. Everything I read tells me to run the program postgres and that will allow me to create a database and make a password, but I don't have the program postgres and I have no idea how to set the password for this. I've gotten the postgres package, postgres-client, and pgadmin3, but I still don't have the program.
