i finally got my game server working. but i have to start the server through remote shell and when i get off my computer it logs off the remote shell shutting down the server, so i asked my friend how i could make it so the server starts up when root logs on, but he forgot the name of the config file so just asking how i can add the server to start up on boot or at logon
never mind again, it boots up the servers but i get a timestamp error in the client and it stops other programs from booting, would it be better to setup a cron job to run a script that starts them if they arent started?
the server im using is eathena ragnarok server, and i think it is doing this because the server when it starts in remote shell, it doesnt exit back to command line after it starts, it just sits there and gives you server status...
