Setting printer defaults in OpenOffice.org
 

I am using an Epson 600 parallel port printer with CUPS in Slackware. My problem is that in OpenOffice my printer settings are not remembered. Every time I want to print I find the printer settings have reverted to Generic Printer and US Letter size paper instead of Epson 600 and A4 paper. I can't find any way of saving my settings in OpenOffice. I don't have this problem with other applications. Can anyone help?
