change the filetype for html, shtml, and other web type files to open with the new mozilla. if using kde, you can use "kcontrol" in the command line to open up kde control center. then find the filetype branch. expand the text group and find those filetypes. in the application preference order frame, you'll most likely have to click the add button. when you do this you'll get an application chooser. there should be a text box where you can type in the command for the new mozilla. something like:
/usr/local/mozilla/mozilla
click ok.
now select your new application entry to select it and then click the move up button until your selection is at the top.
if using gnome, hold out, cause i don't use gnome.
