Set-up Firefox for default e-mail

As if to send a link. In Windoze, Firefox 1 defaults to Opera to do this, but with MDK 9.2 it does nothing. Can it be made to connect to Opera or K-Mail like Windoze? Thanks.

The help file says that this feature is only available at present for Windows, Mac OS X and OS/2.

Firefox send link

Firefox, in Linux, at least in Mandrake, defaults on attempting a "send link" to opening Evolution. I have been looking for sometime for a way to change it to KMail to no avail. Firefox is so configurable, it seems to have to be there, but it's not obvious.

ok dudes, this works!

http://fcp.homelinux.org/modules/sma...aq.php?faqid=4

I use kde, but

<ALT> <F2>
then typing:
gnome-default-applications-properties
the selecting kmail as the default application for emails

firefox now opens new mailto: in kmail. SWEET!
