You don't, you need the rpm package. Read this link, which I found while googling for "centos chrome"

You open a terminal and type the command in there.

It's a bash shell script, so you download and run it as root as follows:

wget http://chrome.richardlloyd.org.uk/install_chrome.sh
chmod u+x install_chrome.sh
./install_chrome.sh
If you downloaded it already, then you don't need the wget command anymore.

or

for the current CentOS 7.1
download the rpm
google-chrome-stable_current_x86_64.rpm
say into your downloads folder

then become root and use cd to the folder where you saved it
Code:
su -
/* type in the root password when asked for */

cd /home/YOUR-USER-NAME/Downloads
yum install google-chrome-stable_current_x86_64.rpm
use yum to install software - that is WHY this program is there and is what it is for

or

do not even download it !!!!!
firefox CAN install software !!!!
firefox SHOULD give you a option on a rpm file
save or install
select "install"
a pop up asking for your root password will " pop-up"
then it is just a matter of "point an click"
