Set Environment Variable
 

I am relitively new to linux having installed redhat 9 last week. Im now attempting to install Uniface and in the installation readme it tells me to

"Set the environment variable LM_LICENSE_FILE and have it point to either a local license file or a license server"

Iv been trying to work out what to do but cannot find out how I go about doing this.

Can any one help me or point me in the right direction

Try:
export LM_LICENSE_FILE=value

The value will be dependant on what the documentation says.
