sesion problems with Tight VNC

I got Tight VNc working just fine on Slackware 9.1 but whenever i connect into Slack via Tight VNC i seem to create a new session? i.e i dont see the same session as the user working on it? So if the user has a problem my vnc access is kinda useless!

Does anyone know how i can vnc in to Slack and see the same screen as the user?
