SERIAL PROGRAMMING & libserial

Hey guys,

I want to write and read strings to and from serial devices. Preferibly i want to use a library which allows non-experienced programmers to easily setup a serial connection. I've found libserial but it comes with no docs. Has anyone used this librayr and could help me by showing me a demo program or something similar? Or else, if there exist other libraries can you include them in the references? Thanks a lot.
