serial mouse problems, help!
Ok, I have been trying to fix this problem for sometime. I am a complete newbie and recieved RedHat 6.1 w/ kernel 2.2.12. Everything in the installation went fine, but when I startx the mouse doesn't work. I have the partitions parted and also have Win98 SE, it won't detect the mouse either. I am only using a serial mouse is because I use a Kensington USB w/wheel, I use this mouse for Win98 and obviously 6.1 doesn't support USB. I have tryed mouseconfig, installing over and over again, and trying to update to kernel 2.2.20 for USB support (it was too big for my HD). So I re-installed and here I am. Please help! This is infuriating!
