Serial communication program in Linux

Hello,
I'm looking for something like HyperTerminal of Putty (in windows) that communicates serial with other devices like Cisco Routers and Switches.
What do you recommend?

Thanks

minicom is already on most distros..

search for Cisco minicom to find linnks to how-to's for that particular task.

putty is available as source code for Linux.. you just have to compile it yourself.

[EDIT]
I just downloaded and compiled putty
It does have the GUI front end, and it does have the serial option.
looks like a win \@/

There is also C-Kermit, which is available as source tarball. Very robust, mature, scriptable and flexible.
--- rod.
