Sensors doen't work? Any known patches?

I'm using mandrake 10.0 and sensors works great as long a i use the 2.6.3 kernel but if i want to use the 2.6.8 kernel sensors doesn't work anymore. I've been searching the net and have seen that i'm not the only one with this problem. Is there any way to fix this because i would like to use the 2.6.8 kernel because it has a driver for my remote control.

I've had some experience with sensors this weekend and i can tell you that surely you have to upgrade your lm_sensors package to get things working.

Take a look in this note in the site of lm_sensors and i2c for the kernel

So your sensors drivers works with 2.6.3 but are incompatible with 2.6.8. And the same for the user space utils.
