sendmail web access

Hi.
My employer won't give me access to mail ports (SMTP, POP3).
I have a AS Linux at home with mail server which I'm trying to access through http.
Is there any software like Outlook Web Access for sendmail?

P.S.
telnet is also prohibited, only ports 80 and 443 are allowed...

Thanks.

Ran

Welcome to LQ.

Sendmail only handles SMTP to retreive messages you need to use POP or IMAP. Horde IMP, and Squirrelmail are good web based IMAP clients and MoreGroupware is a good POP and IMAP client.

If you don't use either port 443 or 80 on the box already then you could run any of these services on that port. If you ran SSH on one of these ports then you could securely forward any port in your LAN to your work machine.

Hi and thanks for your quick reply...

I am usung port 80 on my home PC' for WWW services.

Does those clients you've mentioned are RPMs that I could install?
Would it replace my current Mail server or is it just an add-on?

Thanks.
