Sendmail update broke outgoing mail authentication

I have yum set to update all packages automatically. As a result of an update sendmail no longer allows me to send emails through the server. It acts as if my password was invalid yet the incoming mail accepts the password. Anyone know whats going on? (redhat 7.3)

Updating all packages automatically can cause problems. Without knowing what files were in the update for sendmail I'm just guessing, but do you have your updater automatically updating config files as well? If so, have a look in /etc/mail and check the .cf files to see if they're different since the update.
