Sendmail question for RedHat9

Hello all,

Just recently dipped into Linux and I have a question. I am setting up an E-Service pretty soon and I want to know something. With the people that Sign-up to get an account, I want to take their e-mail address, obviously put it in my db, and somehow add it to a list of email addresses that I only accept.

Because I figure that the filters out there are good and all, but it can't stop everything. So I thought I would go one step further, and only accept the certain emails that were provided during the account registration and forgo any filtering at all.

I was planning on using sendmail for this, but alot of people ae saying that it is not very secure. Are there perhaps easier or better MSA's out there?

Thank you.
