Sendmail question

I'd like to have about 5 or 6 working e-mail addresses but the rest I'd like to go into a catchall. Is that possible with sendmail? I haven't been able to make it work.

Thanks in advance!

sendmail

You should specify the problem more clearly. Assuming you wish to receive emails to a user where the mail to: field has a variety of possible usernames you can use /etc/mail/aliases

The domain name is a delivery zone on the internat and can't be changed (easily).

I have no use for the catchall mail. It can go to /dev/null for all I care. What I was interested in avoiding is returning it to the spammer. If they hit me with 1,000 names and 990 of them are returned, they know they have 10 "good" names/addresses.
