Sendmail/Mailscanner - how can I only scan incoming email.
Hi,
My company has Sendmail/MailScanner/SpamAssassin successfully set up on our server and it works fine.
We manage some large mailing lists with up to 20,000 emails on some lists (all opt-in I hasten to add). When we do a mail out the server gets overloaded as I presume that each of these emails are being scanned for spam and viruses.
We would like to only scan incoming emails and just send the outgoing emails directly.
Does anyone know how things can be set up so that all incoming email is scanned using MailScanner but all outgoing is not.
If you need me to post more info, version numbers etc.. let me know.
