Sendmail is frustrating

rrrrrrrrrrrr :@ Send mail is frustrating.

Here's my problem: I'm running RH9 and sendmail, sendmail is running, i checked chkconfig. I can send mail out, but I can't recieve. It's probably because port 25 is "blocked" somehow. The reason i think that its blocked is because I cant connect to it on a telnet session. I used the redhat-config-securitylevel tool to turn the firewall rite off, but still to no avail. I believe that sendmail recieves mail thru port 25. my imap port is open and working, and i can log in thru squirrelmail and compose and send mail, but it wont recieve.

By default on RedHat and most other linux systems, sendmail is disabled for use from the outside world, because most people don't use it that way.

I can't remember exactly how to change it, but I do know it is on sendmail.org
