Sendmail - IIS POP mail server

Okay frustration has finally set in and I need to trouble my favorite linux forum for help.

I have sendmail(8.13.1) setup on RHEL4 and relaying mail semi-successfully to a basic W2K3 server with IIS-POP mailboxes. The messages get relayed to the IIS-POP server, but get placed in the Drop folder. I notice in the headers that the following headers are at the top:

x-sender
x-recipient

I strip these via notepad/wordpad and place the message back into the Pickup folder and they get delivered to the Mailbox just fine. I send from IIS to the same IIS-POP and they get delivered fine. I can only conclude right now that these headers, being at the top are causing them to fail delivery and remain in the Drop folder.

The question is how do I get rid of the x-headers that sendmail is placing at the top of the headers or reorder them so they don't get read first. Or dare I ask here....Can I modify the IIS meta-base to ignore these headers?

I've been a linux user for a couple of years now, but can't seem to iron this one out.

Thanks in advance for your time.
