sendmail: I can't find the file

I would like to configure sendmail
I searched for the file called but I can't find it
I readed many tutorila about senmail configuration and they said that a file is created modifying the file andh then
m4 >

but I can't see the file and in /usr/lib there isn't the directory

I use slackware 10.1
anche the version of senmail is 8.13.3

This file would normally be in /etc/mail/ unless slackware puts it differently. Are you using locate to get it?
