sendmail help


how do i send an e-mail from the command line/script using sendmail. at the moment all i can get it to do is just send text. i need to be able to edit the subject line as well.


example script:

exec /usr/sbin/sendmail me@yahoo.com -t -i << "
To: me@yahoo.com
Subject: hello
equal\n
"


To: me@yahoo.com
Subject: hello
equal

is sent to my yahoo account with root as the subject. i want to be able to change the subject line. any help would be appreciated.

How about just using 'mail -s subject email@address.com << EOJ
message
EOJ
