sendmail for a home user

Hi all,

I'm trying to setup sendmail so that I can use it with mutt and fetchmail. Fetchmail to retrieve my mail from my ISP's POP3 server and mutt to read/compose e-mails. I want sendmail to connect to my ISP's SMTP server (which requires AUTH) and send e-mail through the address given to me by my ISP. Fetchmail and mutt are already working and configured, I just need to setup sendmail.

I have searched this forum and Google but I've come up empty handed as far as docs and guides specific to what I want to do. Does anyone have any links to tutorials for what I'm trying to do? Most of the tutorials I've heard are mainly for users who want to setup an SMTP server, which is not of interest to me.

Thanks in advance
